This particular brand or type is built better than some of the others. The blade is heavier and appears to be stainless steel. The rest of the unit is plastic as listed. If I were to buy again, I would want this particular style and brand over some of the others that are 99% plastic with cheaper blades.

I wasn’t sure how this would work because in the pictures it looks cheaply made. However, I’m am overall impressed with this. It works better than one I had paid over $40 for before.
